Established in 2014 by the three exceptionally skilled musicians Francesca, Aliocha, and Giovanni, The Gramophones are a London-based jazz trio. They specialize in delivering a blend of timeless jazz classics from the 1920s and modern pop hits, all rearranged in a vintage fashion.

**Francesca Confortini - Vocals**
A versatile international performer, Francesca Confortini boasts a robust background in Musical Theatre, Funk, Soul, and Jazz. Graduating from the Performing Arts Academy of Milan, Italy, she has showcased her talent in various productions like "Fame! The Musical" and "A Chorus Line." After touring Italy with her band 7s8, Francesca pursued a bachelor's degree in Popular Music Performance at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. Her extensive experience encompasses studio sessions, recordings, voiceovers for radio ads, and live performances alongside renowned artists and producers.

**Aliocha Thevenet - Guitar**
Aliocha Thevenet stands as a world-class guitarist and composer, excelling in musical genres from rock and pop to Indian music, soul, R'n'B, and jazz. His impressive portfolio includes collaborations with esteemed artists and producers like Andy Sheppard, Jocelyn Brown, Kuljit Bhamra, and Grammy award-winning producer Steve Power. Aliocha has graced prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, Ronnie Scott, and Lyon Opera House, showcasing his versatility in various musical contexts.

**Giovanni Cresseri - Upright Bass**
Giovanni Cresseri, a skilled bassist and double bassist from Milan, Italy, brings both youth and experience to the ensemble. A graduate of the N.A.M. of Milan, Giovanni furthered his studies in London, obtaining a Bmus Bachelor Degree at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. His impressive resume includes performances with notable Jazz and Blues artists such as Eugene Bridges, Greg Miller, and Marta Capponi. Giovanni's diverse background spans different genres and styles, with influences from legendary bassists like Ron Carter, Paul Chambers, and James Jamerson.
