Biography
Social Scene, a professional acoustic duo, specializes in delivering heartfelt covers of pop anthems, folk tunes, and jazz standards.
Alice, a Rising Star alumna, embarked on her music career with a mission to inspire. Her captivating stage presence and unique style are complemented by classical vocal training from the Salzburg conservatoire. Music has been a constant companion throughout her life, driving her to explore her own voice in various musical centers. Alice has recorded at Twin Studios in Paris and shared the stage at the Sofitel Hotel with Grammy-awarded musicians.
Rami, a musician and producer from South London, found his musical calling as a student. From picking up the guitar in his spare time, he has evolved into a versatile performer, working as a session guitarist and songwriter with artists like Joseph J. Jones and Royce Da 5’9”.
Together, the duo's stunning vocals and exquisite guitar work add a touch of warmth and sophistication to any occasion. They skillfully reimagine pop, Motown, soul, folk, and jazz songs, either acoustically or electrically, depending on the event. Their repertoire spans from covers of pop artists like Beyoncé, OutKast, Adele, and TLC to classics from Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and more.
Social Scene offers the flexibility to provide background music between sets, ensuring a continuous musical backdrop throughout your event. Additionally, they can perform your first dance or a special request for a fee. An amp is provided for vocals and guitar, and a full PA can be arranged for an extra fee if needed. Optional extras include percussion, an evening DJ service, and additional sets to enhance their performance.
