Over their impressive 15-year career, Rokko has delighted audiences globally. Notably, they were selected for a 30-day tour of Afghanistan, boosting morale for the British Forces. Rokko has also brought their distinctive show to various international destinations, including Finland, Sweden, Kosovo, and the Middle East. With an expansive repertoire covering pop, rock, reggae, and even metal from the 50s to the present day, Rokko ensures a lively dance floor filled with singing, dancing, and smiles!
Biography
With a 15 year career so far, Rokko are a global crowd-pleaser. Originating in the homeland of vocalist Adriano and bassist Gui, Brazil, they transformed from performing at parties and clubs to evolving into one of the premier arena acts on the cover circuit.
Following their relocation to the UK and the addition of new members Frank and Vinnie, Rokko has toured various venues, gracing countless weddings and corporate events across the British Isles. The band members in Rokko have honed their talent to the highest level, with each member boasting experience playing alongside a diverse range of artists throughout the years.
In 2011, Rokko was selected to embark on a significant 30-day tour of Afghanistan, contributing a morale boost to the British Forces through their unique live performances. Their captivating show has transcended borders, reaching audiences in countries such as France, Finland, Sweden, Cyprus, Kosovo, Austria, and the Middle East. With a longstanding appeal, Rokko has been a cherished presence at holiday parks like Butlins, Havens, and Park Resorts, maintaining their popularity over the years. Notably, they recently participated in a three-month tour of Butlins venues, sharing the stage with entertainer Steve Mulhern in a lively musical request show driven by audience participation.
With a wealth of experience, Rokko takes pride in crafting sets that are precisely tailored to suit the unique preferences of each audience. Every night, they effortlessly navigate their extensive repertoire, accommodating diverse requests spanning from 50s classics to "Noughties" pop, classic rock, reggae, and even metal. Actively involving the audience, Rokko creates an interactive and spontaneous atmosphere, ensuring a memorable and authentic rocking experience. For Rokko, a show is not deemed successful unless the audience is captivated, and they go the extra mile to guarantee a filled dance floor with guests dancing, singing, and smiling.
