Biography

Hailing from Ireland, Accordionist Cailin showcases a diverse repertoire that spans traditional Celtic, Irish, Scottish, French, Italian, Eastern European, Russian, and South American tunes.

Raised in the deeply musical region of Sliabh Luachra in Co. Kerry, she embarked on her musical journey at the age of 5 with her first piano accordion lesson. Demonstrating remarkable talent, Cailin claimed two All-Ireland titles by the age of 18.

Cailin's career boasts an array of remarkable highlights:

- Performing at prestigious venues such as Dublin Castle for Irish President Mary McAleese, the Guildhall and Kensington Palace for Princess Anne, and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall's inaugural "Irish Sea Sessions" alongside Damien Dempsey.
- Showcasing her talents at renowned festivals worldwide, including Glastonbury, Celtic Colours Canada, Celtic Connections Glasgow, HebCelt, and Lorient Interceltique Brittany, among others.
- Sharing festival stages with acclaimed artists like Jools Holland, The Chieftains, Luka Bloom, and Paul Brady.
- Making television appearances on programs such as BBC Alba's "Horo Geallaidh," UTV's "Kelly Show," RTE's "The Late Late Show," and TG4's "Ionad Cois Locha" and "Sult," where she collaborated with Donal Lunny.
- Her albums receiving airplay on prominent radio stations including RTE Radio, BBC Radio 2, and BBC Radio 3, as well as numerous regional stations across the USA.
