The Man And His Music's lead performer, David, embarked on his entertainment career at the esteemed Italia Conti Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in London, where he underwent three years of training. This laid the foundation for various acting roles, including a stint with the renowned 'Break a Leg' touring theatre company. Among his memorable roles was portraying the inebriated Doc Pearce in 'Calamity Jane' directed by Chris Wallis at the iconic Unicorn theatre in London. David also graced several pantomime stages across the country. His television credits include appearances in 'Lovejoy,' 'Inspector Allan' for the BBC, and more recently, 'Never Never' for Channel Four.

Yet, David is most celebrated as a cabaret performer, gaining recognition for his tribute to the legendary - Frank Sinatra.

Originally, David was part of a popular duo, providing cocktail music for corporate events, hotels, and restaurants. Later, as a solo performer, he featured with his own trio at numerous jazz venues across Britain. The trio included top British jazz musicians such as Bobby Worth, Brian Dee, and Matt Miles, sometimes joined by talents like Digby Fairweather and Spike Robinson. During this period, David received widespread acclaim headlining at the world-famous Cafe Royal - Green Room. His time as a compere at the venue led to a memorable comment from Las Vegas legend Buddy Greco, who remarked, "This guy really is Sinatra!"

In his capacity as a skilled compere, David continued to excel, taking on the role at Chaplins night-club in London's West End. Subsequently, he moved on to a season at The Westlodge in Upminster. David has also made appearances as a guest vocalist alongside notable stars, including the late Ruby Murray, Lionel Blair, George Williams, Charlie Smithers, and the Beverley Sisters.

David has successfully completed various seasons, including those with British Holidays and the Shearings Hotel group. He takes pride in his association with Noel Edmonds' Airbourne Charity.

As a recording artist, David showcased his vocal talents at the young age of seventeen on the album "Here's to the Band." The album featured renowned musicians such as Don Lusher, Kenny Baker, and a full orchestra, conducted and produced by Nick Ingman.

Renowned as Britain's premier tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes, frontman David has taken his show "The Man And His Music" on tour across Britain, Denmark, and Sweden. His involvement extended to Charlie Moon's theatre tribute to The Rat Pack, and a sequel premiered at the Thameside Theatre in Grays, featuring David as Sinatra alongside tributes to Sammy Davis, Dean Martin, and Judy Garland from 'Stars in Their Eyes.'

Continuously sought after for his Sinatra portrayal, David performed for 5000 people at an event sponsored by Nortel at the prestigious Alexandra Palace in London. Subsequently, he participated in a sold-out show, 'TINA, ROD & FRANK,' at The Dominion Theatre in London's West End, alongside Nova Casper as Tina Turner and Gerry Trew as Rod Stewart. David has also toured as Sinatra in the production of The Rat Pack and gained recognition in The Sun Newspaper for the phone-in version of Mandelson's Way, a parody of "My Way" with new lyrics by Richard Littlejohn.

Due to his remarkable vocal resemblance to Sinatra, David has lent his voice to Frank Sinatra in numerous radio advertising campaigns. Additionally, he has been featured on 'London Tonight' and 'Barrymore' for ITV, where Michael Barrymore introduced him as Britain's response to Harry Connick Jnr before his performance of 'The Lady is a Tramp' with a big band led by Don Hunt.

The compliment holds true, as both Harry and David have accomplished much at a relatively young age, both dedicated to preserving the music of Sinatra and other iconic swing/jazz singers of the twentieth century.

More recently, David has recorded a new version of "New York, New York" with a 35-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios for the new Atari PC Game "Tycoon City - New York."

His rendition of "New York, New York" is remarkably close to the original, as recorded by my father, Nancy Sinatra, in a letter to Atari concerning a recording that David made for them with a 35-piece orchestra.
